The Cornell University Airmouse Initiative is a alternative design to arguably the most used interface there is out there, the standard computer mouse. The airmouse is a wearable glove that eliminates the need between switching back and forth between a keyboard and a mouse. By clicking a button on the glove and pointing to where on the screen you wish to go to, you are able to easily navigate while typing. The functionality of the glove is made possible by accelerometer and gyroscopes sensors to measure acceleration and gravity of the wearers hand, the program than takes that data in and uses to to dictate the pointer location. The airmouse is a great design example of utilizing analog data and converting it into digital information.
